    We had them install carpet in August 2015. They did a great job. Went back in October to order carpet for the steps. 1. Couldn't find any invoice or work that was completed in August on file for me. They moved locations but I was surprised since I just had it done. 2. I ordered the carpet and called about it 2 weeks later because no one called to let me know the status. When I called I could tell it was one of those "oh crap--it wasn't ordered. Let's pretend and give a date of next Tuesday it will arrive because I forgot to order" situations. We've all had those happen to us. Just be honest--maybe it was ordered but no in yet but at least call your customer and give them a time frame!! It ended up being fine it wouldn't be here until a week later because we were putting in laminate flooring and needed to put a hold on the stair carpet. But the principal behind even contacting the customer to give a status on the carpet is important! We experienced the lack of communication with the first job but i felt since they came highly recommended I needed to be understanding since they were probably busy. 3. We got the laminate put in and I called back to reschedule. I talked to Sarah who is wonderful and kind. She was supposed to call back with a date and time. Never heard back. Called the next day. Talked to her mom. She didn't have any date or time so she had to call me back and gave me a date of 10 days out. I found that surprising since the carpet was supposedly in stock or should have been. But I understand that the business is busy. They gave me a window of one hour between 9-10 am on Dec 10th. I called because it was 950 am and still no one called or confirmed. I called. No answer even though they are open. I left a message. Guy shows up at exactly 10 am. Poor communication with customers. It's a product---an expensive product. There should always be good communication with buyers. We expect reassurance and good communication. The people who own the business are very kind and knowledgable and very easy to work with. It's the follow up and communication after the purchases that needs improvement. As a customer I feel like my business didn't matter at the end since I had already paid. Perhaps things would be different if I hadn't paid yet and the carpet was sitting around?
